A diffuser is an attachment for a blow dryer. It has a broad surface area %26amp; spreads out the heat and air. It is best for people w/ wavy or curly hair because using a diffuser to blow dry allows the waves or curls to maintain their natural shape. (i.e. avoid frizzies)
