My hair is naturaly dark brown , and I dye it a medium brown. I havent dyed it for about 2 months and it is very grey, I will be adding "Grey Magic" to the haircolor but what should I wash it it a few days before, I heard washing your hair with baking soda, or with medicine peroxide, or should I do something like a hot oil treatment?

But if u ever dye ur hair u can use almost any shampoo but no conditioner. and the shampoo has 2 b pH balanced so not too acidic and not too alkaline.

(so u know conditioner messes with the dye. Especially if its an 'outrageous' colour like mine which is eletric lizard green or my future sister in law's hair colour previosuly which was bubblegum pink.)
