i'm blonde, i've never done any color treatments to my hair, i've always been scared because my hair's fine. but i've wanted to be brunette. i'm just worried about maintenance. please enlighten a girl who has no experience with hair coloring. thanks!

If you have no experience, maybe go to a salon to get it done. They can give you brunette lowlights so that your natural color is still showing and it doesnt look as drastic. Also when your rooms start to grow in it wont look as bad.

i wouldnt. embrace your blonde side and be lucky its natural. so many people are bleached blondes and u can actually say yours is natural. dont dye it bc then u will NEVER get your original color back. its not worh it. if you really waznt to id suggest going to a beauty supplies store and asking them which one is the safest for your hair type etc. good luck

I went through the same thing. If you are nervous about roots showing, trying dying the bottom half of your hair, and if you like it, you can dye the rest later. You can also get some dye products just for roots, so you can do touch-ups later.

why not. if u don't have the $ to go a pro, then get clariol. it's used in salons i used to manage. stick with an ash to be safe. you don't want it to be to orangey red, and you don't want it to be too blueish brwn.
