My hair is in horrible condition, what can I do?

My hair is permed, and color treated. The ends are just falling off. I tried drinking lots of water, etc...still the same.

How long should I leave a deep penetrating treatment in my hair? What other remedies are out there that will help? Thanks

dont brusgh your hair when wet use a wide tooth comb.

just be very gentle to your hair and it will repair itself.

you dont have to get it cut to repair it.

What I would do is use leave in conditioners, try not to die your hair again for a while if you want to fix it.. because hair dyes have chemicals that may sometimes dry out your hair. What I do is when I rinse myt hair I use cold water. It works for me...but everyone's hair is different

The way you take care of your hair needs to change drastically. Be as gentle as you can with it. Get the dead ends snipped off.

Wash hair only every 2-3 days. You can still shower, just cover your hair in a shower cap. On days you don't wash it, spray a leave-in conditioner/ detangler on it before brushing to strengthen the strands and reduce breakage. Try Pantene's Light Detangling Spray.

Use creamier shampoos instead of clear ones, and use a rich conditioner afterwards. Try Frederick Fekkai. It's a salon brand, but girls with damaged hair swear by it. Add a styling product that has leave-in conditioner in it while styling, like Sunsilk's Anti-Poof leave-in cream.

Once a month to get rid of build up from conditioners, etc., wash hair with VO5's Strawberries %26amp; Cream Smoothing Shampoo and Conditioner. These have proteins to strengthen hair and they gently remove build up so your conditioners can penetrate better.

Use a deep conditioning treatment once a week. If your hair isn't colored anymore, try using olive oil. Otherwise, stick with L'Oreal Smooth Vive Intense Smoothing Mask. Wet your hair, apply, and leave it in for at least 1 hr for severe damage and at least 15 minutes for maintenance.

Gently tie back your hair when sleeping, and use a satin pillowcase, or tie it in a silk scarf.

use shampoos and conditioners for permed and color treated hair...... try not to style it that much......you could always get some of your hair cut off......

best bet is to go get advice from a salon......

and if your going to dye your hair go darker not lighter and go to a professional
