My sister made hats for me to match my outfits when went in for my treatments.Im happy to know that you express unconditional love for your mom. You will forever be blessed. The road your mom is about to travel will be a tough one, "BUT" with a soldier for a daughter she will perserve.

Yes, but not always. Radiation therapy has come a long way in thte past few years. What difference does it really make, though? Losing my hair is a small price to pay if I can live a longer or better quality of life. Slowly balding myself, it does have it's advantages. Even to an "egg"head like me.

Besides, I'm not losing hair. It is migrating to my nose, ears, back, shest, . . . .Thinking of it with a sense of humor removes some of the sting.
