Do marks that were caused by laser hair removal treatments fade with time?

Or do they come to stay?

Do marks that were caused by laser hair removal treatments fade with time?

I did laser hair removal and after my first treatment large portions of my leg were scabbed. Once the scabs disappeared I was left with white marks from the laser treatment which, really alarmed me. I called my laser hair specialist and she promised they would fade once I tanned. (If you have scabs DON'T tan yet). But if your skin seems lighter in certain areas compared to the rest of your leg, it will most likely fade once you hit the sun. By summer time my marks were all gone. I hope this helps...I know how frustrating it is to get rid of one problem only to have to deal with another! I would suggest talking to the people that did the laser treatments on you to see what they think. Good luck!

All scars will fade with time...... depending on the severity of the scar will depend on the time it will take to heal. Facial scars heal slower as the skin on the face is thicker and people whom have scars on the face tend to pick at them. It is very iportant to keep your fingers away from your face, this is causing more bacteria to breed. If the scars are facial, I would suggest asking the electrologist whom did the hair removal to help you... i have enver heard of scars from electrolysis...how big are they are where are they located? did the pro., whom did your electrolysis warn you of this/these scars happening?
