Will lemon juice damage the roots of my hair?

have small black hairs on my stomach (i'm a girl) and i'm trying to get rid of them without waxing, expensive treatments, or shaving, and i hear that lemon juice bleaches hair and is bad for hair as well.

so, if i keep on applying lemon juice on my stomach (and expose it to the sun) will my hair eventually damage enough so that it will never come back?

and are there any sight effects to doing so?
