My hair is literally breaking off esp in my bangs from over color processing..HELP?

I have tried redkin severe damage treatments; Kpak, Nexxus Humectress; you name it nothing has helped they have been breaking off over 2 months and continue to do so...any advice on how to stop the breakage and then to repair waht is left??? can I get a hair extentsion jsut for my bangs ..I look horrid...HELP please..am thinking of Pantene retorative shamppo/conditioner but hate to continue wasting money...any suggestions would greatly be appreciated...my hair is naturally curly as well...

My hair is literally breaking off esp in my bangs from over color processing..HELP?

You need to strengthen the hair as well as condition it. If you have bleached it, I would put a filler on it. A filler is just that. It fills in the hair shaft and gives it some strength. You can get it in clear or a color. If it is just over colored or straightened, I would use mayonaise on it. It sounds awful but after 3 treatments your hair will have gotten all the protein and oils it needs to start looking soft and shiny again. You put about a tablespoon on a wet head, rub into the hair well, cover with a shower cap or saran wrap and then a towel to hold in the heat. Leave on for at least an hour. If you can stand it, leave on overnight. You have to shampoo twice and condition too. Wait a few days and do it again. You won't see any real results until the third time. It just takes time to absorb and to layer into the hair shaft.

What you have done is stretched out your hair so that the elasticity is gone and it snaps instead of having some give or you have dried it out and broken the bonds in the hair.

Hair extentions might be a good way to go. They are expensive but in the 4 months it takes for them to come out, your bangs should be a decent length.

Good luck.

Go to a professional stylist for help..you wouldn't want to end up further damaging it.

My hair is literally breaking off esp in my bangs from over color processing..HELP?

Nothing is going to mend damaged hair. The only thing that can help is cutting off the damaged hair and then letting it grow out naturally without using blow dryers or hot curlers or hot presses.

I have pooofy hair...?

I have straight hair but it's dry, medium-thick (indivisual strands) and I have lots of it. I got it thinned, layered and everything many times but it's gotten worse. When my hair is wet, it's nice but then as it dries, the layers start to lift away from my longer hair, so it's like in a (

shape. Even after treatments and blow-drying with a round brush and some serums or creams, in an hour, it's all flippy and thick and poofy, like a triangle. 閳?Does anyone have ideas?

use a nice mosturising shampoo and conditioner, then blow dry without adding serum or any other hair product which is oily. Finish with a nice spray like elnette from loreal.

I have pooofy hair...?

I suggest using ThermaSilk detangler spray on your hair before doing any sort of heat styling. Also, try using a paddle brush when blow drying, and getting a hair dryer with a diffuser to tone down the frizz. I've also found that John Frieda de-frizz products work very well.

I know how hard it is to try and tame out-of-control hair, and I guess it just comes down to testing out different products to see what works best for your specific hair type.

Can please suggest me a cure for balding hair for a person who is only 32 years old?

hard to say. I had a bit of that in my 30's, and curiously it seemed to start happening when I gained weight. I have often wondered whether it was circulatory in nature and maybe not enough blood getting to my scalp or something. I dunno; lost 50 pounds and now it is not an issue.

Good luck anyway!

Honestly, just work with the look. A lot of guys (Andre Agassiz, Vin Diesel, my husband, etc) take bald and make it sexy. Just make sure to keep the hair you still have trimmed short and the places that are thin will be much less noticeable.

Losing your hair that fast, though, may be a sign of stress. Relax!

i suggest that you go to your doctor and maybe he can prescribe you with some hair loss treatment shampoos i mean there are some shampoo for hair loss but u need to contact your doctor so that he can give u the right stuff sometimes you do have to use pills tho for that but like i said ask your doc

Can please suggest me a cure for balding hair for a person who is only 32 years old?

OK, I answered a similar question about a week ago, so I'll reprint it here for you:

Yep, I found it just over a year ago!

You'll need these items:

1. A good set of hair clippers (Wahl, Oster)

2. A good razor (Mach III or Fusion)

3. Shaving gel or foam (like Edge)

4. Baby oil gel w/vitamin E and aloe (optional but recommended)

Instructions:

First plug in the clippers and start buzzing off the rest of your hair until only the slightest bit of stubble remains. Don't forget to oil the blades of your clippers regularly.

Secondly wrap a hot towel around your head for a few seconds. If one isn't available, you can jump into the shower with the water running hot over your scalp for about five minutes.

Then cover your head with shaving gel or foam until a nice lather is realized. Take out your razor and gently shave against the grain over your entire head. Feel over your scalp afterwards for any rough spots. Re-lather and repeat shaving if necessary. Wipe scalp completely with damp cloth.

Next is optional but recommended to prevent dry scalp and to keep it silky and soft. Put a few dabs of baby oil gel (you can use liquid baby oil if you don't mind making a mess) onto your fingertips. Massage into your scalp (or let your wife/girlfriend [if you have one] do it for you; it feels great and she'll love doing it).

And VOILA!!!

Problem solved!

Yes, I know this method won't give you hair (just the opposite, actually). But my point is this: don't listen to the Madison Ave. sharks pushing pills, potions, lotions, and hair "systems" on you and trying to make you self-conscious about your appearance. You'll go broke! And besides, the chances of them working are slim to none and you could wind up looking ridiculous in the process. So shave it off! You'll spend about 40-50 bucks initially and about 10 bucks every few months for new blades and gel, but it's much less expensive than that other stuff that "promises" to give you hair. Not to mention no more money spent on haircuts, shampoo, styling products, etc..

The ladies (many of 'em, anyway) prefer guys who go for the shaved look more than one who does a combover or wears a hairpiece. So don't sweat it. Go ahead and be daring!

How can I have nice hair?

I have medium long dark brown hair that is the poofy/wavy/curly texture. Tips on products, treatments, and styling for a college student who shops at walmart/target and doesnt want to devote hours? please avoid or minimalize heat styling suggestions. I am just out for suggestions because it seems as if no matter what i do my hair is always a disaster. most of the time when i do my hair, it just looks like i rolled out of bed and walked out, so i usually end up just putting it up or braiding it. thanks everyone!

How can I have nice hair?

- Read the book and visit the sites below about curly hair. I did and my once horrible curly hair is now virtually frizz-free ringlets. Now I get compliments on my hair all the time! Straighten your hair- be happy for a day, learn to manage your curly hair- be happy for life!

- To style your hair using the curly-girl method you will need gel and conditioner at the minimum. Some less useful, but still nice stuff would be a blowdryer, a diffuser (reduces frizz in curly/wavy hair when used with dryer), and a microfiber hair turban (to dry wet hair overnight or in the morning).

-The main philosophy of the curly-girl method is to not use shampoo. This may sound unhygenic but it has actually made my hair less oily and dandruffy. Most shampoos contain some of the same chemicals found in laundry detergent (aka sulfates). They dry out curly hair. Also you shouldn't brush your curly hair dry because it damages the hair and makes it poof.

- Massaging of the scalp with conditioner to remove dirt is all that is needed. It will clean everything but super clingy silicones. Then rinse and spread conditioner on the outside layer of hair and the hair at the nape of your neck. Gently comb tangles out with your fingers or a wide toothed comb and rinse with cold/cool water.

-Do not brush/comb your hair after this point because it wil disturb the curl pattern (make sure you already have a part). It is also important to use gel on sopping wet hair and scrunch the hair with your fingers. Use a towel or paper towels to gently scrunch some of the water out. Then let your hair air dry or wait ten minutes and then use a blowdryer with a diffuser. Do not touch the hair while it is air drying or it will frizz!

- Use a moisturizing conditioner, such as Desert Essence Organics Italian Red Grape Conditioner (found at health food/organic stores). The combo of products that I use daily is Garnier Fuctis Sleek and Shine Leave In Cream, then Aussie Tizz No Frizz Gel, and then Herbal Essences Set Me Up Gel but there are more conditioners, gels, etc. on the websites.

- Your hair may seem worse at first, but it is just adjusting. This takes 2 to 4 weeks begin working. This is hard to do if you don't read the book, or at least visit the websites. Naturally curly hair can be beautiful! Hope this helps!

How can I have nice hair?

Get it relaxed! Then it will look nice all the time!

How can I have nice hair?

You could pull a Brittany and shave your head! j/k!

Go w/a layered shorter cut. Use a hot iron to straighten your hair..

How can I have nice hair?

Sunsilk de-poof or whatever it's called. It makes my hair pretty smooth, but not straight, and it makes it not-frizzy.

How can I have nice hair?

I use a product called silicon mix(just type in on search nand will bring up the site that sells it)Cost about 17.99 for 32 OZ. My hair is very kinky and curly but after using this product....I can comb my hair through without having to use a load of products on my hair....its like butter. I hope this helps

How can I have nice hair?

If you have natural wave/curl, the best thing is to not fight it, but go with it and encourage it. It takes the least time and effort with no damage or heat involved. After washing and conditioning, comb with a large toothed comb. Put in your hair a mousse or lightweight gel. Make sure to get it through your hair evenly! (Most people tend to blob in one spot). Flip head over, scrunch. Either air dry or dry on low speed setting with a diffuser. As it air dries DO NOT TOUCH-this causes frizz! If you notice as it's drying that it's starting to frizz, spray lightly with a spray gel/curl enhancing product. The hard thing to get used to with leaving hair curly is not touching it too much and/or brushing.....

How can I have nice hair?

Carol's Daughter!

Best product around...you'll have to go online but this stuff works! Try the "Lisa's Hair Elixir", it makes the texture of your hair workable and healthy.

(And it doesn't make your hair all greasy)

How can I have nice hair?

Ah, you have my hair type! Alright, if you want a non-frizzy curly look, I suggest purchasing curl defining mousse (any brand works, my favorite is Dove), curl defining gel (I suggest Garnier Fructise "Hard Curl") and scrunching hair spray (I like Aussi "Sprunch"). Wash your hair and towel dry it. Comb out any tangles. then, apply LOTS of mousse, then LOTS of gel and the a fair amount of spray. Then scrunch your hair, drying it with a diffuser. The slower you dry it, the less frizzy it will be. Remember to keep your receipt so you can return any products that don't work for you!! longs will let you return anything, I suggest shopping there. The key is finding the right products!

If you want straight styles, I like the Maxi Glide hair straightener. however this costs $60 and may not be practical for you.

Good luck!

How can I have nice hair?

I have the same hair! I get it washed really good and brush it inside and out like a billion time. Then sometimes i straighten it and then it looks good, but i also put it up in braids, and clips.

Hope it looks great!!!!!!!!1

How can I comfortably get rid of pubic hair?

I'm male, 29 years old, and I dont like pubic hair. I've used clippers and shaved, but it doesn't stay smooth for any length of time, and often causes bumps. Ive tried nair but it is way too uncomfortable. Is there a way I can do this at home with any long lasting results, or is my only option with a doctor for laser treatment?

How can I comfortably get rid of pubic hair?

Honey...there is really no comforterble way to remove pubic hair. You can wax it, shave it(if you do that use this stuff called Bikini Zone ointment and shave gel..it rocks), Electrolisis. Thats about it that I know of. I had a friend who bought this wax at a drug store though and it was only $10. She used it and said on a scale of 1-10 for pain...10 being OUCH THAT FREAKIN HURTS...she said it was at about a 2. Its called Surgi Wax or something like that.

How can I comfortably get rid of pubic hair?

laser surgery will do it plus the hair won't grow again until 5 years later

How can I comfortably get rid of pubic hair?

brazilian wax!!

How can I comfortably get rid of pubic hair?

Nair seems like a good option, but if you say your don't like it... Laser on the other hand, may be painful. Wax hurts a bit, but it's long lasting and hair grows back scarcer and smoother. But i think there's not a comfortable way.
